 Description

Antique Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set with cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, bordered by ten round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.90 carats, shoulders set with six cushion shape single cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.16 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.06 carats, to an oval cluster with finely pierced claws, intricate backholing and smoothly conforming shoulders with a scrolling engraved pattern and leading down to a solid D-shape. Tested rose gold with platinum settings, English, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-4369.
