 Description

Burmese ruby and diamond seven stone ring. Set horizontally with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese rubies in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.75 carats, further set with four round old cut diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.36 carats, to an ornate design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders with scrolling motifs, flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, numbered '0169', circa 1880, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-3731.
