 Description

Edwardian diamond solitaire ring. Set to center with a cushion shape old mine cut diamond, I colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 0.53 carats, in an open back claw setting to an elegant solitaire design featuring curved claws, a pierced gallery and circular open backholing, flanked by inwardly tapered shoulders with chenier detail flowing through to a solid D-shaped shank. Tested as yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2225296365.
