 Description

Theodore B. Starr diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, encircled by ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats, flanked by fourteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.10 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design featuring polished edges, a pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the split shoulders leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, maker's mark 'T.B Starr' for Theodore B. Starr, American, circa 1900.
