 Description

Sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, adorned by twelve round transitional cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings, with a combined approximate weight of 0.56 carats, to an elegant cluster featuring intricate scalloped borders, a finely pierced gallery with chenier detail and open backholing, the inwardly tapering shoulders with cheniers flow through to a solid chamfered shank. Marked platinum, numbered '584', circa 1920, makers mark 'BK&T', accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5784-0165.
