 Description

Victorian sapphire and diamond five stone ring. Set with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, interspersed with two round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to a five stone design featuring smooth edges terminating in drop shape engraved details, a polished gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to integrated shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, engraved to interior '18th Sept 1900', numbered '820', maker's mark 'B.D.C.', full hallmarks for London, English, circa 1898, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-097.
