 Description

Edwardian Diamond Flower Brooch. Set with three round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate weight of 1.80 carats, further set with four round old cut diamonds in an open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.25 carats, adorned further with fourteen graduating round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate weight of 0.25 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.30 carats, to an elegant floral design with leaf motifs, intricately pierced galleries, and fancy open blackholing, fitted to reverse with a secure pin and secure C-clasp and safety catch, approximately 2.5cm in length. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910.
