Aquamarine and diamond drop necklace, circa 1910

Edwardian aquamarine and diamond drop necklace. Set with a drop shape old cut natural aquamarine in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.10 carats, further set with two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.07 carats, and decorated with sixteen round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.22 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.29 carats, to an elegant drop pendant design, flowing with movement, featuring a bow motif and millegrain edging throughout, a linear pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, attached to top with a fine trace chain with c-clasp and safety chain, pendant approximately 4cm in length, chain approximately 14 inches in length. Tested yellow gold and platinum, chain tested platinum, circa 1910.
