 Description

Art Deco aquamarine and diamond ring. Set to centre with a rectangular emerald-cut natural aquamarine in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 16.66 carats, flanked either side by two rows of round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings, twenty four in total with a combined weight of 0.80 carats, further set with twelve square step cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.40 carats, to an impressive dress ring featuring curving corner claws and polished borders, an open gallery with chenier detail and open angular backholing, leading to raised integrated shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920.
