Art Deco Colombian emerald and diamond drop earrings. A matching pair, set to top and bottom with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with minor clarity enhancement in open back claw settings, four in total with a combined approximate weight of 2.20 carats, each emerald flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, eight in total with a combined approximate weight of 0.64 carats, further surrounded by twelve round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings, forty eight in total with a combined weight of 0.96 carats, each cluster joined by two round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, four in total with a combined weight of 1.00 carats, and one tapered baguette cut diamond in an open back half rubover setting, two in total with a combined weight of 0.70 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.30 carats to an impressive pair of articulated drop earrings, flowing with movement, featuring curving claws and millegrain edging, a geometrically pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly. Tested platinum, circa 1925, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81293-29.
