 Description

Art Nouveau diamond necklace. An articulated ornate necklace composed of five openwork tulip shaped plaques with a daisy to center, each highlighted with one round old cut diamond in an open back rubover millegrain setting, all five with a combined approximate weight of 0.25 carats, each plaque alternating with a stylised leaf suspending a drop shape natural pearl, with engraved detailing throughout and open backholing, terminating in a fancy link chain with secure sprung C-clasp, approximately 17.5" in length. Marked 18 carat yellow gold with platinum settings, French, circa 1905.
