 Description

Art Nouveau sapphire and diamond crossover ring. Set vertically with one cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.15 carats and one round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, further set centrally with one cushion shape old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with a weight of 0.15 carats, further adorned with twenty four round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.24 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.19 carats, to an elegant crossover design featuring foliate forms, a pierced gallery and shaped backholing, leading to scrolling shoulders and flowing through to a solid grooved band. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79185-41.
