 Description

Boucheron ruby and diamond earrings. A matching pair, each consisting of five round cabochon natural unenhanced rubies, in closed back claw settings, ten in total, with a combined approximate weight of 1.60 carats, further set with one round old cut diamond in one earring and one round brilliant cut diamond in the other, in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats, adorned by nine round and cushion shape mixed cut diamonds in open back grain settings, eighteen in total, with a combined weight of 1.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.00 carats to an attractive cluster design featuring polished edges and fitted to reverse with a secure hinged clip and post, approximately 2.5cm in length. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and tested platinum, signed 'Boucheron Paris', maker's mark 'R*S' for Raymond-Rene Senez, French, circa 1940.
