Buccellati Burmese ruby ring. Set with an oval mixed cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats, to an impressive solitaire design featuring engraved detail throughout in a textured floral and foliate motif and open backholing, leading to integrated trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, signed 'M. Buccellati' for Mario Buccellati, assay mark for Milan, Italian, circa 1940, accompanied by original box, accompanied by Edelsteinbefundbericht Gemstone Report #033192.
