 Description

Edwardian Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats, surrounded by a single row of twelve round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and circular open backholing, flanked by inwardly tapering shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #80267-21.
