 Description

Burmese Ruby and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with one cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back rubover and grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, flanked by two drop shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese rubies in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.60 carats, further adorned by twenty two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.55 carats, to an impressive three stone cluster design featuring scalloped borders, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open back holing, the trumpeting shoulders with ornate scrolling detail taper through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-2578.
