 Description

Burmese ruby and diamond earrings. A matching pair of earrings, each set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back rubover setting, one approximately 1.13 carats, the other approximately 1.04 carats, further enhanced with thirty two round single cut diamonds in open back grain settings, sixty four in total with a combined approximate weight of 2.00 carats, to an elegant articulated pendant earring, with a graduating openwork circular design with millegrain highlights throughout, finely pierced galleries and open backholing, set securely to the reverse with a post and butterfly, approximately 3.5cm in length. Earring tested platinum, butterfly marked platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by Gem Research Swiss Lab (GRS) reports #GRS2015-122597 and #GRS2015-122576, and Gemmological Certification Services report #5784-3696.
