 Description

Burmese ruby and diamond earrings. A matching pair, each set with two cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese rubies in open back claw settings, four in total with a combined approximate weight of 2.60 carats, further adorned with six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings, twelve in total with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, set further with sixteen round mixed old cut diamonds in open back claw and grain settings, thirty two in total, with a combined weight of 1.35 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.55 carats, to an impressive pair of earrings featuring furving claws and open backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and hinge clip, approximately 2.5cm in length. Settings tested platinum, fittings tested white gold, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-1549.
