 Description

Burmese ruby five stone ring. Horizontally set with a graduated row of five octagonal step cut natural unenhanced Burmese rubies in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 3.00 carats, further set with eight round rose cut diamonds in closed back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.08 carats, to an elegant five stone design, featuring stylised claws, an intricately carved gallery with scrolling motifs and circular open backholing, flanked by trumpeting shoulders with ridged detail and leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81286-77.
