 Description

Edwardian Ceylon sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 4.50 carats, further set with thirty four round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.40 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring polished edges, an intricately pierced scrolling gallery and fancy shape open backhoing, flanked by openwork trumpeting shoulders flowing through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification services report #80247-66.
