 Description

Chaumet aquamarine ring. Set with an octagonal step cut natural aquamarine in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 7.40 carats, to an impressive solitaire design featuring twisted gold metalwork, stylised claws, open backholing and a pierced gallery, the integrated shoulders flowing through to a solid shank. Marked yellow gold, signed 'Chaumet Paris', maker's mark 'JC' for Chaumet, French, circa 1945.
