 Description

Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring. Set centrally with a octagonal old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.10 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats, further adorned by twenty two round transitional cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.85 carats. The total approxmate diamond weight is 1.05 carats, to a cluster impressive design with polished edges, a geometric pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by engraved shoulders that lead through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #5783-1541.
