 Description

Colombian emerald and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with moderate clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats, encircled by eight cushion shaped old mine cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.65 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced structural gallery and open backholing, leading to inwardly tappering shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked '750', tested palladium, circa 1940, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #5784-3066.
