 Description

Colombian emerald and diamond cross pendant. Set to centre with a round transitional cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.40 carats, flanked by four rectangular step-cut natural Colombian emeralds with minor clarity enhancement in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 3.14 carats, suspended from a marquise shape brilliant cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.60 carats, to an elegant cross design featuring curving claws, a pierced linear gallery and open backholing, approximately 1.8cm in length, chain approximately 16" in length. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1970, accompanied by Gubelin report #23070076. and SSEF report #141236.
