 Description

Art Deco diamond flanked solitaire ring. Centrally set with a round old cut diamond, H colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 1.75 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by four tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.35 carats, further set with two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.20 carats, to a geometric flanked solitaire design featuring an intricately pierced openwork gallery, and fancy open backholing, the slightly raised shoulders flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #7235357362.
