 Description

Diamond cluster earrings. A matching pair, each set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back grain setting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 0.15 carats, encircled by six round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings, twelve in total with a combined weight of 0.85 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.00 carats, to an elegant floral cluster design featuring scalloped edges with millegrain detailing, intricately pierced galleries with cheniers and fancy open backholding, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly, approximately 0.9cm in length. Settings tested as palladium, butterflies tested white gold, circa 1940.
