 Description

Diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.95 carats, further set with eight round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 2.00 carats and decorated with two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.04 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.99 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, leading to intricate tri-split shoulders with millegrain detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920.

Our inhouse gemmologist has graded the centre diamond to be approximately J -K colour, SI clarity.
