 Description

Diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, J colour, VS2 clarity with a weight of 1.01 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by twelve rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover and channel settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.51 carats, to an striking flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, a finely pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid flat shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #6422761288.
