 Description

Diamond cocktail ring. Set centrally with sixteen round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.10 carats, flanked to either side with a vertical row of seven round old cut diamons in open back grain settings, fourteen in total with a combined weight of 0.14 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.24 carats, to a stepped heavy bombé cluster form featuring millegrain detail, a scrolled gallery and pierced open backholing, the large integrated tapering shoulders flowing through to a solid flat shank. Tested rose gold and platinum, circa 1940.
