 Description

Diamond solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, in an open back claw setting, with an approximate weight of 1.15 carats, to an impressive solitaire design with curving claws, an intricately carved gallery with scrolling motifs, open backholing and raised split shoulders which flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and tested platinum, maker's mark 'W.B.& S.', likely attributed to William Bruford & Sons, circa 1905.
