 Description

Edwardian diamond brooch. Set to centre with three round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.12 carats, to an ornate navette shape brooch featuring a raised central panel with star motif settings surrounded by decorative gold granules, scrolling rope details, elevated flower motifs, bordered by ribbed openwork and circular backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure hinged pin and scroll clasp, approximately 4.3cm in length. Marked 15 carat yellow gold, indistinct maker's mark, full English hallmarks for Birmingham, circa 1907.
