 Description

Edwardian diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with a round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.20 carats, encircled by a single row of eight round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, flanked further by ten round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings, all eighteen with a combined weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.20 carats, to an elegant cluster design featuring scalloped borders and polished edges, supported by an intricate open gallery and fancy backholing, the elegant trumpeting shoulders which continue to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, settings tested platinum, circa 1910.
