 Description

Edwardian diamond crossover ring. Set with two cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.60 carats, bordered by eighteen round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.18 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.78 carats, to an ornate crossover design featuring openwork details with polished edges, a finely pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to swirling asymmetric shoulders and flowing through to a ridged D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold with platinum settings, circa 1910.
