Edwardian old mine diamond five stone ring. Diagonally set with five graduated cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings, with an approximate combined weight of 0.30 carats, to a beautifully sinuous five stone design featuring convex borders with foliate detail to the top and bottom, a smooth gallery and open backholing, tapering to solid shoulders that flow to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, numbered '1970', indistinct makers mark, full hallmarks for Birmingham, English, 1902.
