 Description

Edwardian sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 7.50 carats, surrounded by a single row of sixteen round old cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.80 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster ring with polished borders, an intricately pierced gallery with scalloped detail and fancy open backholing, flanked by raised shoulders with chenier detail which flow through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79214-70.
