 Description

Georgian rose cut diamond ring. Set to centre with a round rose cut diamond in a closed back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.55 carats, flanked by four round rose cut diamonds in closed back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.75 carats to a five stone design featuring geometric collets, a polished gallery and closed backholing, leading to smoothly conforming shoulders and tapering through to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, engraved 'Hessie' to interior, maker's mark 'R S' for Robert Sharp, full hallmarks for London, English, 1807.
