 Description

Lacloche Frères enamel and diamond vanity box. Set to centre with sixty five round rose cut diamonds in closed back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.50 carats, further set to the clasp with five round rose cut diamonds in closed back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.05 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.55 carats to an elegant vanity box featuring a Chinese Shou character to the front, polished gold borders and fitted to the interior with mirror and compartments. Attached to top is an open link gold and black enamel chain, approximately 9.5 inches in length, the drop from top of the chain to the bottom of case approximately 7 inches, further fitted with secure push clasp and hinge, the box measures approximately 6cm x 4cm x 0.7cm. Marked yellow gold, signed LACLOCHE Freres, French, circa 1920.


The Shou character is a Chinese symbol for longevity and double happiness.
