 Description

Moonstone diamond and emerald cluster ring. Set with a round cabochon moonstone to centre in an open back rose gold rubover setting with an approximate weight of 5.00 carats, encircled by a single row of twelve cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back collet settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.60 carats, also set with four square baguette cut natural emeralds with no colour enhancement in similar settings with an approximate weight of 0.30 carats, all to a floral cluster form with an intricate pierced conforming gallery with fleur de lis motif split shoulders, leading to a flat solid shank. Tested rose and yellow gold, circa 1890.

The emeralds are most likely to be from the Colombian mines.
