 Description

Art Deco natural pearl and diamond cross over ring. Set diagonally with a round natural saltwater pearl, approximately 6.8-6.9 x 5.7mm in an open back setting, further set with one round old cut diamond, I/J colour, VS1/VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats in an open back claw setting, further enhanced with ten round eight cut diamonds, I/J colour, VS1/VS2 clarity, with a combined weight of 0.35 carats in open back grain settings. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.65 carats, to an elegant cross over design featuring curving claws, a finely pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by inwardly tapering shoulders that flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat white gold with platinum settings, unknown maker's mark 'P&C', French, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-6868.
