 Comments

Peridot, with its vibrant green hue, has captured the imaginations of people throughout history, leading to a rich tapestry of lore and beliefs surrounding the gemstone. Considered one of the world's oldes's gems, peridot's history dates back to the 2nd millenium BC, with the Egyptian's believing it protected against evil spirits. For certain cultures, peridot was regarded as a talisman for travellers, bringing luck and safe passage to sailors, explorers and adventurers. Peridot is also often associated with renewal and rejuvenation, due to its vibrant green colour reminiscent of lush foliage and springtime growth.
