 Description

Edwardian ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced ruby in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.40 carats, surrounded by ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.65 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster with faint millegrain edging, a decorative pierced gallery and fancy shaped open backholing, the split shoulders terminate in ridged detail and flow through to a D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, maker's mark 'JHP', circa 1905.
