 Description

Sapphire and diamond cocktail ring. Centrally set with a square step cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, flanked by four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back channel settings with an approximate total weight of 0.40 carats, and set to top and bottom with ten round star top diamonds in open back grain settings with an combined weight of 0.60 carats, all flanked by vertical borders of ten square step cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back channel settings with an combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate sapphire weight is 1.50 carats and the total approximate diamond weight is 10.00 carats, to a stylish cocktail ring of geometric design, polished edges and open backholing, the split trumpeting shoulders tapering to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum and iridium, markers mark 'SKS', American, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #5782-1259.
