Old cut diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set centrally with a round old cut diamond, H colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 4.62 carats in an open back claw setting, further set with six round single cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.68 carats, to an elegant solitaire design featuring curving claws, a finely pierced gallery with scalloped detail and circular backholing, the gently sloping inwardly tapering shoulders with openwork curlicues flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5775-1965 and Gemological Institute of America report #5172205132.
