 Description

Victorian Burmese Ruby and Diamond Five stone ring. Set with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese rubies in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.15 carats, further set with two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, adorned further with eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain and rub over settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.10 carats, to a carved half hoop design featuring curving claws, an intricately carved gallery with scrolling details and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by trumpeting shoulders with engraved details, flowing down to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1900, accompanied with a Gemological Certificate Services (GCS) 5784- 3227.
