 Description

Victorian diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.20 carats, encircled by eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The approximate total diamond weight is 0.80 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring millegrain detail, an intricately pierced gallery with scalloped motifs, and fancy open backholing, leading to tri-split shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, tested yellow gold and silver, maker's mark 'FB', circa 1890.

The diamonds have been assessed by our in-house gemmologists to be approximately J-K colour, with SI1-2 clarity.
