 Description

Victorian diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, further set with two round old cut diamonds in open back claw and rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.95 carats, further adorned with six round rose cut diamonds in closed back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.15 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.00 carats to an impressive carved ring featuring curving claws and an ornate carved gallery with scrolling motifs and fancy open backholing, flanked by decorative shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shaped shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1890.

The diamonds have been assessed by our in-house gemmologists to be approximately I-J colour, with VS1-VS2 clarity.
