 Description

Victorian two row garnet and diamond ring. Set with a row of five cushion shaped old cut natural unenhanced garnets in open back grain and claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.15 carats, adjacently set with a row of five cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.27 carats, to an impressive double row horizontal cluster design, with an ornately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders with ridged detail flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, makers mark 'MEG', for Michael Eleazer Goldstein, full English hallmarks for London, English, 1884.
