 Description

Diamond and ruby cocktail ring. Set to centre with a single marquise shape old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats flanked by ten square baguette cut natural unenhanced Burmese rubies in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.70 carats, to an impressive cocktail ring featuring a symmetrical design, a raised platinum collet and open shaped backholing leading to smooth polished shoulders and tapering to a solid band. Marked yellow gold and platinum, French, circa 1940.
