 Description

Wolfers Frères Colombian emerald and diamond ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with minor clarity enhancement in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 2.50 carats, flanked by six round brilliant cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.36 carats, to an impressive flanked solitaire design featuring polished ridged borders, a smooth gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to trumpeting openwork shoulders and flowing through to a solid grooved shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, numbered '50333', signed 'Wolfers' for Wolfers Frères, maker's mark 'W' for Wolfers Frères, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-1795.
