 Description

Belle Époque sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 5.20 carats, further adorned with sixteen round old cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.12 carats, to a coronet cluster design with corner claws, polished edges, a geometric pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the slightly raised shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, indistinct maker's mark, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #78176-67.
